Home Health Aide

Duties:

– Provide personal care and assistance to clients in their homes
– Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
– Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
– Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
– Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques
– Prepare and serve meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences
– Perform light housekeeping tasks, including cleaning and organizing client’s living space
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation and records

Qualifications:

– Previous experience as a Home Health Aide or similar role is preferred but not required
– Knowledge of medical terminology and basic healthcare practices
– Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision
– Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals
– Compassionate and patient demeanor when providing care to individuals with special needs
– Strong organizational skills to manage schedules, appointments, and medical documentation
