History

A Glimpse Into The Past 32 Years

1989

Food Temps, Inc., known today as All Team Staffing, was founded in St. Louis as a staffing agency and a management placement firm for the food service and hospitality industries. Because such a service was new to the industry in 1989, potential clients did not recognize the advantages and cost reduction opportunities associated with choosing a staffing agency. To overcome this lack of information, Food Temps, Inc. embarked on a major client-education program to demonstrate how staffing and management placement should be used. At the time, we had neither an established reputation nor references in the food service or hospitality industries. As a result, national clients were hesitant to give our new company a chance.

1992

After three long years, the business started to grow in both segments. Temporary staffing and management placement services began to gain industry acceptance. Our reputation for providing fast, dependable service at a fair price allowed us to establish national agreements with many national contract feeder companies and restaurant chains. We expanded into new markets with greater ease. The first branch office was opened nationwide, and after a similarly slow start, it also prospered.

It became evident that the two segments of the company had different client bases within the industry. Food Temps’ temporary staffing primarily serviced hotels and contract food operations; conversely, the management placement side of the business chiefly serviced national restaurant chains. In order to better serve all clients, the company was divided into two separate entities. Food Team, Inc. was the successor company for temporary staffing business and Resources In Food, Inc. (RIF) was formed to serve the management placement business. Although Food Team and RIF operated as separate entities, they were truly sister companies whose services nicely complemented one another.

1995

Through the mid to late 90’s and up until 2004 Food Team and RIF grew from one office to a nationwide organization of 24 offices coast to coast. One aspect of our growth was through franchising with roughly half of the locations being owned by franchisees. Although Food Team and RIF operated as separate entities, they were truly sister companies whose services nicely complemented one another.

2003

All Team Staffing was formed as a general labor staffing arm to assist Food Team clients with light labor, warehouse, and industrial support such as general clean up, moving materials, and punch list work.

2004

Food Team, RIF, and All Team Staffing grew from one office to a nationwide organization of 24 offices coast to coast in just 12 years. One aspect of our growth was through franchising, with roughly half of the locations being owned and operated by franchisees.

2005

In January 2005 Food Team and RIF merged into one company with RIF becoming a division of Food Team. From 2005 through 2008 Food Team continued to expand the footprint across the country opening new offices through franchising and corporate-owned stores.

2009

Food Team’s business within the healthcare industry had grown outside of the food service department, and it became very clear that there were opportunities in healthcare support services. Med Team Support Staffing was established in late 2009 to meet this need, becoming a specialized staffing agency dedicated to healthcare support services including Environmental Services, Food Service Department, Patient Transporting, Facility Management, Health Information Management, and Office/Clerical needs.

2014

With such great expansion into multiple industries, each with its own multiple staffing solutions, All Team Staffing became the parent company to properly support all divisions of services. Today, our staffing divisions deliver workforce solutions specializing in the Food Service, Hospitality, Admin & Clerical, Labor & Light Industrial, and Healthcare industries. We developed a reputation for quality placement performance, providing employers with proven staffing solutions that help grow their business, reduce risk, and boost their bottom line.

2020

All Team Staffing was no stranger to the struggles associated with the pandemic. Offices that were not forced to close their doors remained open to service our hurting communities. We are one of the fortunate companies that did not have to permanently close offices. To fortify our commitment to safety, we developed a COVID-19 Safety Certification program for our employees to help bring them safely back to work, and continue working safely. We pivoted to support the Healthcare industry in any way we could while also helping our fellow food service and hospitality businesses recover.
