Job Duties:

  1. Meal Preparation: Execute the preparation and cooking of nutritious and delicious meals for hospital patients, adhering to dietary guidelines and ensuring high-quality standards.
  2. Menu Planning: Collaborate with the culinary team to contribute ideas for menu development and participate in the planning of daily and special event menus.
  3. Food Safety: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, strictly adhere to food safety protocols, and ensure compliance with health regulations.
  4. Quality Control: Monitor food quality throughout the cooking process and make adjustments as needed to meet or exceed our standards.
  5. Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow cooks, kitchen staff, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination and delivery of exceptional dining experiences.

Requirements:

  • Previous cooking experience in a professional kitchen is required.
  • Knowledge of hospital dietary restrictions and considerations is a plus.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Details:

  • Shifts: Mon-Fri NO WEEKENDS
  • Hourly Rate: $17/hour.
  • Temp-to-Hire: This is  a temporary position; we’re looking for a committed team member to grow with us.
